There are so many ‘gigs’ I can imagine us doing together - going to the cinema to watch movies, conquering Pen y Fan or doing the London marathon together on the sofa in the living room. ‘You can be old if you want to be’ you said to me during one of our numerous chitchats when you just relocated to Cardiff from Berlin. When I think of you now I should be singing 🎶.... forever young, I want to be forever young, do you really want to live forever?.....🎵. Every day I wake up, I still hope I am dreaming, I am still struggling to come to terms with your departure - can’t believe you are no longer here with us. Looking through old pictures - your sons look just like you and your daughter, beautiful, will always remind me of you. I know you really would have loved to go to Berlin one more time to see your children - you said so to anyone who would listen at every opportunity in the last 12 months preceding your exit. We will try and make that journey for you not once but on numerous occasions. Rest in peace buddy.
